When I was I in the 5th grade, I studied about dirt.
私は小学5年生の時に土について研究しました。
Today, I will tell you about my studies.
I checked the features of the dirt and studied
the relationship with the plants.
私は土の特徴を調べ、植物との関係を探りました。
For example, I studied water retention of
the dirt, and the effect on the plants.
例えば、土と水の関係を調べ、植物への影響を研究しました。
I wondered how soil nutrients develop, and I
studied that.
私は、土の養分がどのようにできるのか疑問に思い、それを調べました。
I used a Tullgren funnel to collect
microorganisms and observed them with microscope.
ツルグレン装置を使って微生物を採取し、顕微鏡で観察しました。
Then, I considered the relationship of them and the features of the dirt.
その時、それら（微生物）と土の特徴との関係について考えました。
I was excited to see the various shapes of
microorganisms.
私は（この実験で）、いろんな形をした微生物を観察できて楽しかったです。
I understand that they are very important
to the soil.
彼ら（微生物）が土にとってとても重要だということがわかりました。
